DreamStar Vision Quest Retreats

Beginning in spring of 2019, DreamStar will offer Vision Quest Retreats on the magical Lower Laguna Madre on the Gulf coast of deep south Texas. A group of six to eight participants will enjoy an intensive retreat characterized by lucid dream induction, dream work seminars, and excursions into one of last remaining primitive estuaries in the world.
The purpose of these retreats will be to facilitate a participant's deeper communion with spirit, to ground and to amplify the dreaming capacity with an immersion in nature, and to provide an intimate and supportive environment for this great enterprise.
Led by Scott Sparrow, and coordinated by Julie Sparrow, the DreamStar Retreats begin on Thursday evening, and continue through midday on Sunday.
Tentative schedule:
Thursday pm—Arrive at Valley International Airport in Harlingen, Texas. Transportation provided to waterfront lodging in Arroyo City, Texas, 20 miles from the airport.
Thursday night—Dinner, orientation, initial dream sharing, and setting intentions for the retreat.
Thursday/Friday 4 am—Group meditation and use of Advanced Lucid Dream Induction Technique (ALDIT).
Friday morning—Breakfast, Review of induction efforts, co-creative dreamwork with the FiveStar Method
Friday late morning—Excursion to Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge for bayshore hike and search for dream animals/synchonicities in nature to ground and support our dreamwork.
Friday early pm—Dreamwork and videos (e.g. Salmon's "Dreaming in Nature")
Friday late pm—Excursion by boat to east side "Sand" of the Lower Laguna Madre, dreamwork and hors d'oeuvres on the water.
Friday night—Dinner and dock party, then brief meeting to review use of ALDIT
Friday/Saturday 4 am—Group meditation and use of Advanced Lucid Dream Induction Technique (ALDIT).
Saturday morning—Breakfast, Review of induction efforts, co-creative dreamwork with the FiveStar Method
Saturday midmorning—Excursion to the Lower Laguna Madre by boats for meditation and exploration of the lagoon. Dreamwork on the water.
Saturday pm—Late lunch, rest period
Saturday evening—Dock dinner and party
Saturday night—Co-creative dreamwork with the FiveStar Method, and review use of ALDIT
Saturday/Sunday 4 am—Group meditation and use of Advanced Lucid Dream Induction Technique (ALDIT).
Sunday morning—Breakfast, review of intention and results of retreat, Co-creative dreamwork with the FiveStar Method, and final ceremonies
Sunday midday—to airport, unless you've made plans to stay longer to explore South Padre Island, Mexico, etc.
Cost: $795 Includes all meals, lodging and airport transportation.
